Betfair's subsidiary TVG recently acquired HRTV horse racing television network, which has been rebranded to TVG2 as of last week.
With an improved product accompanying the rebranding, the company says it can now leverage its production infrastructure.
“We've made good progress in integrating the two television productions, and integrating the brands was the logical next step in the process to optimize television coverage for horseracing,” commented Kip Levin, chief executive for TVG. “Our goals have always been to provide a better fan experience, increase our appeal to distributors, and drive revenue to the industry.

Obviously from Betfair are decided to make their network bigger as possible, the new rebranded TV channel will be in great help for them to improve their horse racing...
Obviously from Betfair are decided to make their network bigger as possible, the new rebranded TV channel will be in great help for them to improve their horse racing business even further. I think this is a logical step from Betfair's side and looking like the company becoming in one of the leaders on the horse racing market.
