The Australian Open has partnered with William Hill Australia in an official betting sponsorship deal.
CEO Tom Waterhouse said that the tournament was a good it for William Hill as both brands have a reputable and innovative approach.
'We will continue to extend our product range to include the ability to live stream matches and bet In-Play, with the focus to remain on bringing the most unique, engaging and relevant experiences to all tennis fans,' Waterhouse said.
The sponsorship deal covers the Emirates Australian Open Series made up of the Hopman Cup in Perth, the Brisbane International, Apia International Sydney, Hobart International and the World Tennis Challenge in Adelaide, all leading up to this year's first Grand Slam.

Australia open is attractive for big companies and I assume that lot of money was in the game, when they arranged this kind of deal. Maybe for betting players this means new tennis games and promotions in William Hill during Australian open. We must to wait to see what new this deal will bring us.
With this deal William HIll definitely looking to strengths their positions on the Australian gambling market. Certainly a smart move from them when we know that Australian Open is one of the most popular events proceeded in Australia. Probably this campaign will be a successful one for the company, I expecting a good results for the bookmaker.
I'm almost sure William Hill want to be the biggest bookmaker in the industry. This move is a very wise one because the Australian betting volume is really high. Millions of people watching the Australian Open every year so this is the best advertising in my opinion. William Hill should not be afraid for its future.
