New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will make his Premier League debut on Saturday when his side visit Tottenham at White Hart Lane. The two sides are separated by just one point in the league table, with Tottenham in eighth place and Liverpool in tenth. The Reds have won the last five league meetings against Tottenham, but neither of the two sides has ever won six in a row against the other. Liverpool have recorded comprehensive victories on their last two visits at White Hart Lane: 5-0 and 3-0.
Tottenham are unbeaten in seven league matches, they haven't lost any games since the opening day defeat at the hands of Manchester United. The Spurs have gathered 10 points out of 12 in the last four league matches, including a 4-1 victory over title favourites Manchester City. They are unbeaten at home this season and it's also worth pointing out that their last five league home defeats have been by a difference of just one goal. Ironically it's Liverpool that last beat them by more than one goal at White Hart Lane. Eric Dier is unavailable through suspension after having picked up five yellow cards, while Son Heung-min, Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Alex Pritchard are injured.
Jurgen Klopp starts his Liverpool adventure after the club had a disappointing recent form under former boss Brendan Rodgers. He was sacked after a 1-1 draw in the Merseyside Derby before the international break. The Reds have struggled to win away games, they have won just one of the last nine away league games. However, Klopp has not had the most fortunate start at Anfield as he lost Danny Ings and Joe Gomez for the rest of the season. Christian Benteke is also out of contention for a while, along with Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino. Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren could recover in time for the match.
Probable line-ups:
Tottenham: Lloris - Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies - Alli, Dembele - Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli - Kane
Liverpool: Mignolet - Clyne, Skrtel, Sakho, Moreno - Lucas - Can, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana - Sturridge
My prediction: 1-1 draw.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Tottenham win - 2.45 Draw - 3.50 Liverpool win - 3.00

This was very big match for all the fans of Liverpool Football Club.It was first match of Jurgen Klopp on the bench of the Reds.He had big problems with injuries,so final result must satisfy him.Reds were not bad on the pitch and this match can give a hope to the fans that Klopp could really make changes at Anfield.

From 28.11.2012 until now, between Tottenham and Liverpool were 6 matches, all of them finished with goals and over 2.5 goals. Now, after almost 3 years they finish the match on a draw, a white draw 0-0. It was a little bit surprising for me because I expected a match with goals. Klopp had influence in Liverpool's game although he is with first team just for a couple of days. Liverpool managed to overrun Tottenham yesterday, and that was because of Klopp new philosophy. Surely he is more satisfied with this result then Pochetinho, and I believe that he can build game from this match

This was first game of Liverpool whit Jurgen Klopp on the bench and I am not satisfied at all what he done to this team. I know that he had a little time to fix things but this play was bad, they were without any attacking idea but their defense were better, I must admit that. This is not bad result for Liverpool but they...

In the moment I'm writing it's second half still 0-0 game. If the game finishes that way it wouldn't be a surprise to me. Still early to expect Klopp's work to have any results on the field except for his players attitude in the games. Begins a new era of Liverpool and new coach on the bench. We will see how can this team led by Jürgen Klopp, as i think, the fact is that they have no opportunity for the top of the table. Tottenham plays variable this season, can win big team, but also to lose the last of the table. I expect an interesting match.
