Victor Valdes' agent says the Spanish goalie will certainly leave Manchester United in the January transfer window. The agent added that Valdes is unlikely to return to Spain. The goalkeeper has fallen out of grace at Old Trafford after manager Louis van Gaal revealed that he refused to play for the reserves team.
Valdes has not played at all for the Red Devils since a substitute appearance in the final game of last season. He has been linked with several clubs during the summer transfer window. Newcastle also seem interested in him after losing Tim Krul to injury for the rest of the campaign.
The goalkeeper's agent, Gines Carvajal, revealed the 33-year-old Spain international did not reveal his future destination but insisted a move back to Spain would be unlikely. "He needs to go to a place he feels is right for him," he said. "He won't be coming to Spain, unless he decides otherwise. It is obvious he must leave in January and and we will try to make sure he's happy and feels comfortable with the move. He had the option of coming to Valencia in the summer and did not want to."
Manchester United are 7/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season.

During his spell at Barcelona,Victor Valdes, who spent all his youth careeer at Barca, was one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He is not too old for a goalkeeper,so I expect he will have a lot fo offers from a good clubs to continue career. He still has something to offer,I am pretty sure about that.

Victor Valdes is great goalkeeper and he deserve better than reserve team of Manchester United. I understand that is De Gea better goalkeeper at the moment but he really deserve to be at least second goalkeeper in the team. I am not surprised with this decision and I think that he will find nice club in next transfer window....

In the moment Victor Valdes is really unwanted in Man United, more so after the problems he had with Van Gaal recently. It was just matter of time for him to realize that he have to find another team when to continue his career. Now United have not one but two stable keepers and there is just no room for Valdes even if...

For me he has never been among the best goalkeepers in the world, but was fortunate enough to play in the best era of Barcelona and the Spanish national team and won many titles. Victor Valdes is at the end of his career and maybe it's time to retire. For a long time he hasn't played much, maybe the option is Newcastle...

Valdes is a very lucky guy. He played for the best FC Barcelona ever so he could win titles. But he isn't a top goalkeeper at all. As I know Besiktas wanted to sign him at the previous transfer window but his salary would have been too high for the Turkish. He's not an old goalkeeper but I can't believe he'll win titles...

As I know Besiktas wanted to sign him at the previous transfer window but his salary would have been too high for the Turkish. He's not an old goalkeeper but I can't believe he'll win titles again. A move to Newcastle would be a wise decision but after the returning of Krul he'll b a second choice goalie again.
