The legality of in-play betting using desktop and mobile devices has been a hot topic in Australia and William Hill plc's Aussie division is moving ahead with a new advert promoting it with confidence that the ad does not violate any local law.
The new ad hit Aussie television this week and encourages punters to "own the moment".
William Hill In-Play:
The ad is pushing the AFP to publish its legal opinion of in-play and Tom Waterhouse, the CEO of William Hill's Australian operations, defends the marketing tool saying:
'We have an In-Play betting solution that is 100 percent legal and fits within the Interactive Gaming Act. It's simply about giving customers something better and it's what they have been crying out for.'

Most of the leading sports betting companies have all kind of problems with the Australian gambling authorities who are very strict about any violations. I don't know who's wrong in this case but obviously in William Hill they believe that there are no reasons for panic and all that they doing is fully legal, better be or it could be very expensive mistake for the company.
I really dont understand Australian government.They have absolutely different view on gambling then all the other aountries.They must slow down and let the companies to make an offers liek they make worldwide.Because of strict rules,Australia is not receiving lot of money,that is received in other countries from betting servieces.
