World number one Serena Williams continues her pursuit of a Grand Slam this season after securing a difficult victory over 19th seed Madison Keys at the US Open. Williams won 6-3 6-3 to set up a quarter-final match against her sister Venus. Serena is now just three wins away from completing the first calendar Grand Slam since Steffi Graf in 1988.
Serena's powerful serve was broken no less than five times in the first three matches at the US Open but she steadied the ship when it was most needed. Against Keys she served almost perfectly, not allowing a single break point. "I served much better today," Williams said after the match. "I'm so proud I was able to serve better. Obviously I had to - I knew I wouldn't have too many chances to break."
Keys cracked with two double faults in a row in game eight and was broken by Serena, who then served out the set. The second set was also dominated by Williams, who missed a few break points before converting to take a 4-3 lead. A double fault from Keys ended the match after just 68 minutes. The next match will see Serena, aged 33, face her 35-year-old sister Venus, who beat Estonia's Annett Kontaveit 6-2 6-1 in the previous round.
The match will take place on Tuesday night, here are the odds at Bet365:
Serena Williams win - 1.11 Venus Williams win - 6.50

Serena Williams showed that she is the best female tennis player maybe in history of this sport. She is so dominant and i am sure that she could won over sister 2-0 but she didn't want to. In this moment she don't have decent opponent and that makes tennis a little boring but i am sure that she is not bored and she love...

Serena won 2-1 against her sister ad that was expected. I even think that she didn't play that second set with full commitment and that is only reason why she lost that set and that was only because her sister l payed against her. If there were any other player on the world I think that Serena would win 2-0.

This was great match between two fantastic players. They are in top 3 tennis players in last 15 years and it is great pleasure to watch them on court. Serena is chasing Golden Slam this season, and she was big favorite in this match. She won in three sets, and that is important for her. Now, she is only 2 steps away from...

Lol. First set was easily went to Serena Williams (6:2). Venus had no breakpoint int that set. What was about the second set? Venus won that easily (6:1), Serena had only 1 breakpoint. I think this is an art in a theater. My prediction for the 3rd set is 6:2 for Serena Williams.

I am looking forward to see another tennis classic. This is probably one of the most interesting rivalries in modern tennis history.Serena is big favourite, but they know each other very well and it would not be big surprise to see Venus winning. It is very emotional match for both of them and it is truely joy to watch...

Will be really ironic if Venus could stop her sister to make a calendar Grand Slam. Of course this is just unthinkable at this moment and probably it's not going to happen but still there is a some hypothetical chance for that. I just hope that we will see a real match and not some kind of acting performance from a Venus...

There is no doubt who will win this match. Serena wants to be the first woman who complete the Golden Grand Slam. Venus is in good form, but in my opinion she'll help her "little" sister to reach her goal if she needs that. But Serena played very well throughout the year and lost only twice. Maybe we'll see a final set,...
