Tottenham are currently in talks with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of forward Son Heung-min. They have also been interested in West Brom striker Saido Berahino but were unable to reach an agreement for the England forward so far. Son Heung-min is a South Korea international, aged 23, and has scored 21 goals in 62 league appearances for Leverkusen. He moved from Hamburg to Leverkusen in 2013 after scoring 20 goals in 70 appearances.
The deal for Son is reportedly worth around 22 million pounds. Last week Tottenham had a second bid for Berahino rejected by West Brom, who also rejected a transfer request from the player. West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace said on Tuesday: "Our position remains unchanged. The sale of this player is not on our agenda."
Son or Berahino, Tottenham really need to sign a striker after having sold Roberto Soldado. Emmanuel Adebayor has also been placed on the transfer list and will probably switch clubs before the transfer window slams shut, leaving manager Mauricio Pochettino with just one recognised striker: Harry Kane.
Tottenham are 13.00 at Bet365 to clinch a top-four Premier League finish this season.

Tottenham Spurs have a strange transfer policy. They bring potentially good players who cost a lot. None of these reinforcements did not bring an advantage on the field. I think it would be wise to bring a top player for more money. Son Heung-Min is a good player, but I think that he will be average player in Tottenham...

I strongly believe that it will be great deal for Tottenham if they sign Son Heung-Min from Bayer Levercusen. But on the other side, sharpe is right when it comes to Tottenham and transfers, there are plenty of "mistakes" that they've made in last couple of years,.They are still negotiating so we will see how this will...

Spurs have to be careful who they buying because a year ago they make 7 or 8 multi million transfers and half of these players are not even in the club now and some are but not a first choice. Obviously their scouting staff does not work so effectively till now. I'm not saying that the new players who Tottenham wants to...

I'm not saying that the new players who Tottenham wants to buy are not good enough but they really have to be sure before spending.
