Liverpool have decided to leave Mario Balotelli out of their squad for the pre-season trip to Finland, according to sources quoted by SkySports. The club have not yet received any offers for the Italian striker. The Reds will play HJK Helsinki on Saturday in the penultimate friendly before the start of the new Premier League season. Balotelli will have to report to the club's training ground in England.
Balotelly was also excluded from the squad that travelled for the pre-season tour of the Far East and Australia. It seems that a couple of Serie A clubs are interested in bringing the 24-year-old striker back to Italy but they would surely like to benefit from a reduced transfer fee. Liverpool paid 16 million pounds to get Balotelli from AC Milan last summer but the forward had inconsistent performances throughout the season.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has already strengthened his attack through signing Danny Ings and Christian Benteke this summer, so Balotelli would be way down the pecking order as Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi will also compete for a place in the starting eleven. However, the manager refused to confirm whether Balotelli would remain at the club at the end of the transfer window. The striker has two years left on his contract with the Reds. He has scored just one Premier League goal in 16 games last season.
Liverpool are 21.00 at Bet365 to win the Premier League next season.

Super Mario in Liverpool showed again that he is now just Super dissapointment. He was really playing bad all season so it was logic to see him left off from the Liverpool squad. His salary is huge,so it wont be easy to find a new club for him.It looks ike Balloteli will never achieve success that was expected from him.

Obviously there is no room for Balotelli in Liverpool's attack especially after their latest summer signings. Will be curious which will be the team who will be interested to buy him (if any) or Liverpool will be forced just to loan him. I guess it's possible for him to return in Italy after all because he is not very popular...

Every time when I'm thinking of Mario Balotelli I'm a bit disappointed. He is great talent and when he was starting his career all thought that he will be one of the greatest footballers. But his attitude is stopping him to be better and to play at big clubs. This "left out" by Brendan Rodgers is maybe the "boiling point"...

This "left out" by Brendan Rodgers is maybe the "boiling point" for him and maybe he'll find a way to keep calm and start playing real football.
