An interview by Rafael Benitez's wife added fresh fuel to an old rivalry between the Spanish manager and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager has launched a fresh accusation towards Rafael Benitez, saying that the Spaniard has "destroyed the best team in Europe" when he replaced him at Inter Milan in 2010. Mourinho replied after Benitez's wife, Montserrat Seara, joked her husband was "tidying up" another Mourinho "mess" at Real Madrid. Benitez has also managed Chelsea but not immediately after Mourinho's departure.
"The lady is a bit confused," Mourinho said. "Her husband went to Chelsea to replace Roberto Di Matteo and he went to Real Madrid and replaced Carlo Ancelotti. The only club where her husband replaced me was at Inter Milan, where in six months he destroyed the best team in Europe at the time. If she takes care of her husband's diet, she will not have any time to talk about me."
The two manager previously clashed when they were in charge of Chelsea and Liverpool respectively. Then Mourinho led Inter Milan to a European and domestic treble in the 2009-10 season, left for Real Madrid and Benitez took over. He did win the Italian Supercoppa and the Fifa World Club Cup but got sacked after six months with the team seventh in Serie A table.
Chelsea are 2.50 at Bet365 to successfully defend their Premier League title next season.

Mourinho, you are king! You showed her where is her place in two or three sentences, people should not talk about something they don't know a thing! Respect for Benitez, but Mourinho is better manager and this is silly accusations.

It is not nice to talk in this manner with some woman,but Mourinho is absolutely right.He is way better manager than Rafa Benitez is.We saw it best in Inter.With same team that won Champions League,Serie A and Cup,Rafa Benitez could not do anything.It is best proof of difference between them.

No doubt that Mourinho is the most successful manager between those two but he's also is willing to make annoying comments all the time. Maybe he was provoked this time by Benitez wife who really don't know of what she's talking but that didn't have to be an excuse for Mourinho who just can't shut his mouth.

What a man is Jose Mourinho. Hahahha.. When I've read what Benitez's wife said about him, I knew that it's just a matter of time when he will reply to this comment, and I knew that it will be epic. Big part of his comments and interviews are interesting, but as the matter of fact, he is very often right. :D
