Manchester United have made an offer worth 28.6 million pounds for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. The 29-year-old Spain international is believed to want a move away from Real Madrid after not being given an extension to his current deal, which runs out in 2017. The defender has made no less than 445 appearances for Real Madrid.
Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is desperate to improve his defence in order to achieve more than last season's fourth-place Premier League finish. Ramos has been a decisive player for Real Madrid in 2014 when he scored the stoppage time equaliser in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid. He joined the Bernabeu club from Sevilla back in 2005.
Ramos has also been an integral part of the Spain national team that won Euro 2008, Euro 2012 and the 2010 World Cup. He has 128 caps for Spain. In other news, Manchester United also seem to be chasing Southampton's 25-year-old midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin. Saints boss Ronald Koeman admitted that it will be difficult to keep the French midfielder but added that United have not yet made a "serious bid".

Ramos is one of the bet central defenders in the world, and i don't believe that Real will let him go that easily. But he has wish to leave the club, not because of money, but because of relation with club officials, which was not so good lately. We can't forget De Hea also who could be part of great transfer story this...

I read that Sergio Ramos will leave Madrid only because Manchester United, but I think that this offer for Sergio Ramos is not problem for Real. They will turn down this offer and keep Sergio for sure. he is maybe most important player of real and they need him next season if they want to win something.

Sergio Ramos is top quality player,there is no doubt about that.He is probably the best defender in the world in last few years.Simply,I dont think it is smart to spent such amount of money on a player that is not young and you can never know how will he adapt on Premier LeagueI think it would be smarter for United to sign...

I'm not the biggest fan of Sergio Ramos but I'm a MU fan and I don't know how successful this transfer could be but I think United are ready to overspend yet again like in some previous transfers in the last year. I'm not saying that Ramos is not a class player and that he wont help United but 30mil pounds are really serious...

There were a lot of rumors about possibility of this transfer and now Manchester United made an official bid for Sergio Ramos. He stated that he want to leave Real Madrid, and I don't see a reason why they won't agree on this move. Maybe they will want a bigger sum of money for this transfer but I'm pretty sure that Ramos...
