New Paddy Power chief marketing officer Gav Thompson has made the decision to replace lead creative agency BMB three months into its contract.
According to the Campaign Life publication, Thompson wanted a new beginning and selected agency Lucky Generals without hearing a formal pitch.
Lucky Generals and Paddy Power have worked together on one off projects since 2013.
BMB was chosen to manage Paddy Power's £20 million advertising account after a four month pitch in March 2015.
Juliet Haygarth, BMB's chief executive, spoke with Campaign saying: "The new marketing director arrived at Paddy Power on Monday and, by the end of the week, he had moved the account to Lucky Generals."

There was some scandals in the media with the Paddy Power advertising campaigns in the past years and recently too so I guess this is the reason for them to change Lead Creative agency. Obviously the new chief marketing officer Gav Thompson didn't like this style of advertising and will work with new agency. Probably Lucky Generals will have different methods from the previous company that worked with Paddy Power.
