Spanish player Rafael Nadal expects Wednesday's French Open match against Novak Djokovic to be the "toughest quarter-final of my career". Nadal, who has won the title at Roland Garros on nine occasions, defeated Jack Sock 6-3 6-1 5-7 6-2 in round for to record his 70th French Open win. He is trying to become the first player in the Open era to win 10 titles at a Grand Slam tournament.
Djokovic had an easy fourth-round match as he defeated Richard Gasquet 6-1 6-2 6-3. Nadal has beaten Djokovic six times at Roland Garros, including three consecutive wins in the last three editions of the tournament. Things might chance now though as the Spaniard has only managed to win one tournament since last year's French Open while Djokovic is on an amazing 26-match winning streak.
"It is not the final, you know," said Nadal. "It's a quarter-final. And, no, the winner of that match will not be the Roland Garros champion. They will be a semi-finalist of Roland Garros. That makes a big difference. Even if it's a special match, it's a quarter-final match." Djokovic said: "Of course it is a different approach mentally when you play Nadal in quarter-finals than any other player. There is no doubt about that. I'm going to try to keep my routine the same and not give so much importance to the match. I know what I need to do to have a chance to win. That doesn't mean that I will win. The future is unpredictable."

Finally the king is dead, Novak had a little hesitation just in the opening set but when he won it, than the match was a pretty easy for him. Nadal is a great clay court player maybe the greatest ever but this time he had no answers. He was far away from his best but Nole was great all the way. And he is the top favourite...

Murray has won a lot of matches consecutively on the clay court, but in none of that matches opponent was Novak. Novak could possibly do the Grand Slam in only one year and that would make him probably the best player ever.

This is the first time that I am sure it will Novak Djokovic win on clay. Their matches are always interesting, and no doubt it will be tomorrow. I do not like to bet on these matches, but I predict that they will play five sets. This is the "final before the final".

I don't know if the game will be so great but I definitely expecting a close one and I think it will be tough for both players. I'm not going to be surprised if the match continue for more than 3-4 hours.

Rafael Nadal is back on the "field" after some time off because of an injury. It will be very interesting and tough match for both players, but I strongly believe that even he is "The King of the sand" he won't be able to beat Novak, because Djokovic is in very great shape and he really want to win Roland Garros this year.

This will be one of the best quarter-finals ever in French Open. Nadal is great at Franch Open, but this season he is bellow his top level. That is big chance for Djokovic to beat him and go to the semifinal. It is time for Djokovic to win against Nadal after six consecutive defeat. I can't wait tomorrow match.
