Five-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan reached the quarter-finals of the 2015 World Championship with a comfortable 13-5 victory over Matthew Stevens at the Crucible in Sheffield. The match resumed at 12-4 on Monday evening and O'Sullivan took the first frame of the session to wrap things up and set up the quarter-final clash with Stuart Bingham.
"I built up a good lead so was happy just to come back for that," O'Sullivan said. "When you have won it five times and won everything, you don't really get that excited. I am just happy to still be playing." Stevens said: "I took a bit of hammering really. I made a couple of mistakes and before you know it he has capitalised on it." Shaun Murphy also had a comfortable win as he beat Joe Perry 13-5 to reach the last eight. Judd Trump defeated Marco Fu 13-8 and will face China's Ding Junhui in the quarter-finals.
Australia's Neil Robertson ended his match in style with a 145 break to defeat Ali Carter 13-5, ending the evening session in under an hour. "Comebacks have happened before but being 10-3 up, I wanted to win with a session to spare. An 11-5 lead I was happy with though," said Robertson. "Someone will need to make a 147 to beat my high break now, and I am very pleased to win the match."
Ronnie O'Sullivan is 2.75 at Bet365 to win this year's World Championship while Neil Robertson is 4.33 to win the trophy at the Crucible.

In fact I prefer Snooker before football, great game. Ronnie will not going to win the World Championship, he just don't play good enough this year and I think the new champion will be someone between Robertson and Judd Trump. Shawn Murphy is the most consistent player all season long, so he also got a decent chance for the title I think. Ronnie have to raise dramatically his game if he wants a chance but I don't think he can do it right now.

Ronnie O'Sullivan is the best snooker player at this moment and maybe even the best player ever.
