Back Premier League: Leicester City vs Chelsea preview

Chelsea travel to face Leicester City on Wednesday with victory on their minds, knowing that they are just six points away from sealing their first Premier League title since 2010. There is much at stake for the home side as well since they have boosted their chances of surviving in the top flight. Chelsea have won all their last five Premier League games against Leicester. If the Foxes win the match it will be their first five-game winning streak in the top flight since 1964.

The Foxes have done wonders over the last few weeks, they pulled themselves off the bottom of the table and are now sitting one point clear of the relegation zone after picking up four consecutive wins. They are not safe yet though, and snatching at least a point against Chelsea could prove decisive at the end of the season. Leicester boss Nigel Pearson might choose to field a weakened side against Chelsea in order to focus on the matches against lesser opponents.

Chelsea secured a goalless draw at Arsenal last weekend in the last tough test of the season, at least on paper, for the Blues. Jose Mourinho's men have not been playing brilliantly lately but they have kept getting the points, and that's all that matters when you want to win titles. Chelsea need just two more wins to wrap up the title, which means they could celebrate this weekend. The Blues are still without Diego Costa and Loic Remy, so Didier Drogba should lead the attack once again.

Probable line-ups:

Leicester City: Schmeichel - De Laet, Huth, Morgan, Albrighton - King, James, Drinkwater, Konchesky - Wood, Kramaric

Chelsea: Courtois - Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta - Matic, Fabregas, Cuadrado, Willian, Hazard - Drogba

My prediction: Chelsea to win 2-1.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Leicester win - 5.75 Draw - 3.80 Chelsea win - 1.70
