Back Premier League: Hull City vs Liverpool preview

Hull City will be looking to get at most as they can when they face Liverpool on Tuesday night as they are just one point clear of the relegation zone. For the Reds it's a game that could give them some hope if they win it, the three points would take them to just four lengths behind fourth-placed Manchester United. Hull have beaten Liverpool in the Premier league just once, in December 2013. This season's reverse match ended goalless.

Hull City recorded a massive victory last weekend, 2-0 at Crystal Palace, ending a terrible run of just two points in the previous six games. That was just the fourth win for Hull in 2015 but they are not safe yet. Moreover, they will have to face big sides like Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham before the end of the season. They have managed to take points off Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool already this term though. Curtis Davies, Andrew Robertson and Mohamed Diame are all doubtful for the match.

Liverpool have been struggling lately, especially since the 2-1 defeat against Manchester United in March. They got beaten by Arsenal after that and also got knocked out in the FA Cup semi-finals by underdogs Aston Villa. Brendan Rodgers' job might be in danger if the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League. Last time out they were held to a goalless draw by West Bromwich Albion. Striker Daniel Sturridge is out for the rest of the season, so Mario Balotelli should retain his place in the starting line up.

Probable line-ups:

Hull City: Harper - Brady, McShane, Dawson, Chester - Elmohamady, Huddlestone, Livermore, Meyler, Aluko - N'Doye

Liverpool: Mignolet - Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Can - Ibe, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho - Balotelli

My prediction: 2-2 draw.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Hull win - 4.33 Draw - 3.60 Liverpool win - 1.95
