Club Brugge will be looking to extend their unbeaten run when they host Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie on Thursday. The Belgians are the only side in the Europa League that has not yet been defeated this season. This is the first appearance at this stage of the competition for the Belgians since the former UEFA Cup was transformed into the Europa League while Dnipro never managed to reach such heights before. The two sides have met in the group stage of the same competition in 2003, Dnipro won 3-2 at home.
Club Brugge are also leading the Belgian Pro League with eight games left in the season. However, their eight-match winning streak ended last week after a 2-0 defeat away at third-placed Kortrijk. They do have five consecutive wins in Europe though and dropped points just three times since the start of the campaign, at Copenhagen and twice at Torino in the group stage. After that they cruised past Aalborg BK and Besiktas in the previous knockout rounds.
Dnipro have somehow squeezed through to this stage of the competition, they won as many games as they have lost since the start of the campaign. They did beat Tottenham though and also clinched a surprising aggregate win against Ajax in the previous round. In the domestic league they are eight points behind leaders Dynamo Kiev but they are unbeaten in their last five matches.

In this match we saw boring draw 0-0. I expected more from this match because both teams are great in counter attacks and I expected a lot of goals. Dnipro played better, they had more chances for goal but at the and I think that this is fair result. For me in second match Dnipro is big favorite and I will be surprised...

Brugge and Dnipro played the worst match last night, and I don't think that either of this two teams deserves to progress in next round. They haven't created any chances, and Dnipro will have slightly advantage in next match because they are playing on the home turf. We will see but it will be very interesting to see who...

This is the worst game in the quarter-finals of the Europa League. I think that neither of them will not go further than the semi-finals. It will be a big fight in the second leg, and at this point Dnipro is close to passing away. Konoplyanka who may have one move to solve the game and I expect it from him in the rematch....

For me Club Brugge is big favorite here. They play great during the whole season and I think that Dnipro can't play with them. Dnipro had a lot of luck in last round and they were better than Ajax after overtime but this time I think that they will lose both games. 0-0 is result at half time but I think that Club Brugge...

These both teams don't have so much experience at the European scene but I don't think that they had reach this stage accidentally. Club Brugge is the leading team in the Belgium domestic league but I think they will have a tough time against Dnipro, but any of these could reach the semis which will be a great success...
