Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere declares himself ready and eager to return into the first team after playing for the Gunners' Under 21 side following an ankle injury. He had two operations on his left ankle following an injury suffered in a match against Manchester United last November. He played the full 90 minutes for the Under 21 side on Tuesday alongside Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby.
"You can train as much as you like but you can't get that match fitness unless you play," Wilshere said. "I feel like I'm ready to play some part. When you're injured you look at your comeback date and the games around that time. The one that stands out is the FA Cup semi-final against Reading on 18 April but even before that we've got big games and we've got to go to Manchester United as well on 17 May so there's a chance to play this season."
The initial surgery was performed in November but Wilshere also had to go through another procedure in February to remove pins in his ankle. Arsenal are currently second behind Chelsea in the Premier League table. They will play Burnley away on Saturday before the FA Cup semi final at Wembley against Reading. Then they will have the big showdown against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium on 26 April.
Arsenal are 8/15 at Bet365 to win Saturday's match at Burnley.

Jack Wilshere's returning is important for Arsenal, not only for his role on the pitch but also as a captain of the Gunner's. He will be in play for the last quarter of the season for the most important games of Arsenal and will be a decisive figure. So great news for the London team and their fans.

Jack Wilshere is great player and this is very important news for Arsenal. Arsenal is in great form they are second on the table and Jack Wilshere can only improve their game and their results. After that great victory over Liverpool they will be unstoppable and I think that they will finish on second place this year.

This is very good news for Arsene Wenger and all Arsenal fans around the world. It may be difficult for him to adopt after not playing since November and after those two operations on his ankle, but he is very young and he has a lot of talent and I'm very confident that he will "get right back on track" very soon. Jack Wilshere's return will be very big plus for Arsenal and he will be available to help his teammates to stay in those places that leads in Champions League for next season.
