Back UEFA Champions League: Monaco vs Arsenal preview

Arsenal must do something very special in order to make the quarter finals when they face Monaco in the second leg of their Champions League tie on Tuesday. The Gunners were beaten 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium three weeks ago, so they will need to score at least three goals in the second leg and avoid conceding any.

However, confidence is high in the Arsenal camp after recording 12 wins out of their last 14 competitive matches. Monaco will have to avoid complacency in order to make sure they advance to the quarter finals as Arsenal had created plenty of chances in the first leg.

Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim has rested a few key players during his last Ligue 1 fixtures, including striker Dimitar Berbatov who started the last two matches on the bench. Monaco have won three of their last five matches in all competitions.

Probable line-ups:

Monaco: Subasic - Abdennour, Kurzawa, Toure, Fabinho - Toulalan, Joao Moutinho, Kondogbia - Berbatov, Bernardo Silva, Martial

Arsenal: Ospina - Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal - Coquelin, Ramsey - Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez - Giroud

My prediction: Arsenal to win 2-1.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Monaco win - 23/10 Draw - 5/2 Arsenal win - 13/10
