Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich will be trying to extend their league winning streak to six games when they travel to Werder Bremen on Saturday. Bayern will be full of confidence after recording a historic 7-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in midweek, a result which booked their place in the quarter finals.
Bayern are 11 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga table, they have lost just one match in the league this season and have scored an amazing 27 goals in their last five matches. However, they will be without Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery this weekend while Xabi Alonso will also be absent through suspension. Captain Philipp Lahm has recovered after a four-month spell on the sidelines but Guardiola will most likely choose not to rush him back into the first team.
Bremen are currently eighth in the league table but they still have hopes of clinching an Europa League spot at the end of the season as they are five points behind sixth-placed Augsburg. They have been in solid form lately, lost just once of their last eight league matches and clinched six wins in the process. Levent Aycicek could return to action for the home side but Alejandro Galvez is expected to be left out after having just recovered from a foot injury. In October Bayern thrashed Bremen 6-0 at the Allianz Arena.
Probable line-ups:
Werder Bremen: Wolf - Garcia, Vestergaard, Prodl, Selassie - Fritz, Oztunali, Aycicek, Bargfrede - Di Santo, Bartels
Bayern Munich: Neuer - Dante, Boateng, Badstuber - Schweinsteiger, Rafinha, Bernat, Rode, Alaba - Gotze, Muller
My prediction: Bayern to win 2-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Bremen win - 9/1 Draw - 19/4 Bayern win - 2/7

Well, as somewhat expected Bayern Munich shown who's the absolute boss in the Bundesliga with a dominating 4 - 0 score. The quality of players as well as the team play was spectacular to watch and, after the first half when you think they're done, Lewandovski putts two more behind the goalkeeper and seals the game solid...

Werder Bremens's team are in better shape now than in the beginning of the season but they will face the mighty Bayern Munich who is unstoppable so far in Germany and will win yet another title in the Bundesliga this year. But still I don't exclude a surprising result in this one.

The match will be very interesting and I think that we will see a lot of goals and I hope that Werder's players will be able to score a goal in Neuer's net. Anyway, Bayern almost won a title in Germany, and it's a matter of time when they will "raise the trophy", but I think that they will keep winning until the end of season.

Difference between those two teams in insane. Bayern is 1st, Werder 8th. Difference point vise is almost double (61 to 33) and it is all clear who is favourite in this one. Bayern Munich is on the run after beating Shakhtar 7:0 and confidence of Pep Gvardiolas players should be high. Werder, on the other hand, is having issues lately. Their goal is to qualify for Champions League next season, but that goal seems far far away. If they want to reach their goal, they will have to at least put some strong efford and try to stop powerful machine from Munich. Still, they are underdogs and anything except away team winning would be huge suprise. My predicitons: - Result: 1:3 for Bayern Munich; - Man of the match: Robert Lewandowski.
