Everton welcome Dynamo Kiev on Thursday in the first leg of their Europa League last-16 encounter. The previous round was fairly easy for the Toffees as they demolished Swiss team Young Boys 7-2 on aggregate. However, manager Roberto Martinez might be more focused on saving his team from relegation in the Premier League than on European glory.
Everton have recorded three wins out of four home games in this season's Europa League. Dynamo Kiev defeated Guingamp in the previous round, they were beaten 2-1 in Franc but fought back and won 3-1 at home. Since then Dynamo recorded another three wins. They have won just four of their previous 22 meetings against English sides in Europe though.
Everton will be without a few key players like Leighton Baines, Leon Osman and Aiden McGeady while Younes Belhanda, Sergei Rybalka and top scorer Andriy Yarmolenko are all suspended Dynamo. The visitors also have Lukman Haruna, Yevhen Makarenko and Yevhen Selin injured.
Probable line-ups:
Everton: Howard - Alcaraz, Stones, Jagielka, Coleman - Barry, McCarthy, Gibson, Barkley, Naismith - Lukaku
Dynamo Kiev: Shovkovsky - Vida, Danilo Silva, Dragovic, Antunes - Chumak, Miguel Veloso - Lens, Buyalskyy, Husyev - Kravets
My prediction: 1-1 draw.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Everton win - 13/10 Draw - 12/5 Dynamo Kiev win - 12/5

Another tough game for prediction, but still Everton have to be a favourites in that one. Many of the Europa league first games finished 0-0 which is very tricky result for the home sides and I'm sure in some of them the away teams will get advantage of that. Everton is not playing as anyone expected from them but despite that fact I think that they will win tonight. Dynamo Kiev is very good team, but they are far from that team they had in last couple of years, so they will need a "miracle" to go trough Everton and to take place in 1/4 finals in League Europe. When it comes to predictions, I'll bet on Everton's win and also I think that they will score at least two goals tonight on Goodison Park.

After a draw 0:0 game in first match in Kiev, everything is still open before their second game tonight. Everton is underpreforming this season in Premier League, so I wouldn't suggest anyone to bet on this since they have their ups and downs, non stop. Dinamo Kiev is a team I don't know much about. Everton is underpreforming this season in Premier League, so I wouldn't suggest anyone to bet on this since they have their ups and downs, non stop. Dinamo Kiev is a team I don't know much about. They beat Guingamp in round best of 32, with one goal advance. French team missed their chance in first match after having 2 players advantage for more then a half. Anyway, expecting tight game with both teams taking no risk, thats why my assumsion will be game without goals at all. My predictions: - Result: 0:0 in regular time, game decided after penalties, - Man of the match: Leighton Baines
