Juventus will be looking to get a long-awaited revenge when they host Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday. These two teams played the final of the competition back in 1997, Juventus were the big favourites but Dortmund pulled off a surprising 3-1 victory. The two teams have never met since.
Juventus are doing well on the domestic front, they are preparing to win a fourth consecutive Serie A title. Things are going quite differently for Dortmund, who are locked into a relegation battle in the Bundesliga. Their form has improved since the winter break but their domestic season is still far from satisfactory.
Dortmund will be without midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz due to an injury but Marco Reus is fully fit while Ciro Immobile and Mats Hummels should also make their returns into the starting line up. Juventus have played German clubs 21 times before and they won no less than 14 of those matches, losing only five.

Klopp will surely figure out way to shock Juventus.Reuce will have to play at the top of the game,cause he is a biggest threat for Juventus.Other players like Immobile and Aubameyang will also have to play much better than they did in this season.In front of the Yellow wall,no team is unbeatable.

Yes kruno1414,this is a great matchup.The second clash will probably be the most interesting match in the 1/8 finals.Germans will attack from the first minute,they played good in this campaign of Champions League.They have good chances,but they will have to play much better than in first match.

This is a great matchup , Dortmund is really struggling in Bundesliga this season but all know what kind of team they are. in this match Juventus was really in control , they deserved to score at least one more goal , but Klopp is surely happy with that one they managed to score , it has really made things more interesting...

I expected from Borussia to show a better performance after all they must be happy with the result.Juventus was a lot better team on the pitch,had a few more chances to win with a even bigger difference.Borussia still has chances to pass Italian giants,but it wont easy for sure.

After first match it is still all open. Juventus won 2-1 but Borussia Dortmund also have chances t go in next round. I think that bad days for Dortmund are behind them and they will play better and better in future. Juventus have a lot of experience and they know how to play in champions league but I am not sure that they...

Dortmund has a really bad season but they should never be written off. They have a great team and controversial coach Klop on the bench. On the other side of the field, Juventus who is leading the standings in the Italian league, and who is playing great.

I still remember that game back in 1997 when Dortmund were big outsiders, but lift the cup after amazing performance in the final. Now Juventus are the big favourites again but I doubt that we can see a similar scenario with that from 1997. Juve failed last year in Champions league and this season they are amongst my favorites...

I thin that this is finally chance for some club from Italy to do something more in champions league. Juve play against Borussia and I think that team from Torino is big favorite here. They play well, special at home, and I think that they will win first match at home with 2 or three goals difference and resolve all question...

I actually feel really sad about this game. Reason? My Champions League TV provider is gonna host Manchester City vs Barcelona :( Juve is doing fine in not so hard Seria A (lets be honest). Three years in a row they are winning championship with no big effords, mostly cause their runners slip up vs mid to low table placed...

On the other hand - Millioners from Dortmunt had ruff season so far. They were bottom one in Bundesliga just few weeks ago. Somehow they managed to turn it around and since then their form is rising. Reus has been pretty much 50% of the team. When he has a good day, entire team has aswell. Ideal result would be 2:1 for Juventus. Anyway, I'm expecting spectacle between italian and german team. May best team wins.

On the other side, Dortmund have very good players, but we all know that they are struggling this season. But they have struggled just in Bundes League and they finished first in their group, leaving Arsenal on the second place. Also Dortmund have raised their form and they have streak of three wins in Bundes League. Despite their faster players I really hope that Juve will win tomorrow. FORZA JUVE! FINO ALLA FINE! :D
