Mario Balotelli has scored a dramatic winning goal against Tottenham on Tuesday but he didn't celebrate it. After the match he posted some kind of an explanation on social networking site Instagram.
The 24-year-old Italian striker came off the bench to score seven minutes from time as Liverpool defeated Tottenham 3-2 at Anfield in a crucial match in the fight for a top-four finish in the Premier League. This was his first goal for the club but he barely managed a smile after scoring and left the pitch before his team mates at the end of the game. Later he posted a message on his Instagram account saying: "Great game guys!!! This smile is ONLY for those that always Believe and support me. Thank you. Forza Liverpool. But now head down and keep working hard. Tonight is past."
Balotelli declined interviews after the match but Liverpool assistant manager Colin Pascoe praised the troublesome forward. "Mario always works hard in training,” Pascoe said. “He has been ill recently and he has had some knocks on his foot. It's testament to him that he kept going and he deserved the winning goal in the end. He is immensely happy. If you get the winner at Anfield, I'm sure he's happy. Mario knew he would have a part to play tonight and he certainly did."
Liverpool are currently 7/2 at Bet365 to clinch a top-four finish this season.

He is backing at his old form slowly but progressive. He showed disrespect to Henderson, which one was captain at the moment on the field, but the end everything turns well for all of us Liverpool fans. It will be interesting to see, will he maintain his form until the end of season, or this was just couple of good matches...

I think that this is the best thing that could happened to Liverpool on this match. If Balotelli get back in form and continue to score I think that Liverpool can win against any team on the world. He is great player, leader and Liverpool need player like him. He was always weird about this celebration but I won't talk...

He is something special, we all know that. We also know that he is one of the best strikers on the world and it is great for him and all Liverpool fans that he scored important goal against Hotspurs. If he continue to work hard and get back in form I think that Liverpool have chances to reach champions league, without him...

Mario Balotelli was the biggest young talent 3-4 years ago. He have everything that world-class player needs, but he just can't "grow up". He is acting like a baby and that leads him to this stage that he is right now. Anyway, he still can become a better player or maybe one of the best strikers, he just need to "calm down...

I agree with h34adhunt3r's commens. With his skill he could be one of the best strikers in the world. He is strong, covering the ball very good, his shooting skills are above the avarage, his headibg skills are atrong too... but his mental skills... a 10 years old guy is much more matured than he...thats why he can't be...

Its a fact. If he has the same mentality as Del Piero or Gerrard the richest team would race for him to see him in their team. Maybe he will find himself at Liverpool he is young yet its not too late to change. I trust in him and i hope he will change his mind. Italian national team needs him next to Zaza and Berardi.

Mario Balotelli needed a long time to score his first goal in the premier league, I think he needed over 700 minutes to do that. For the forwards is very important to score regularly so there is a chance after that goal, his game to improve. Although it is not shore that he will start in most of the games.

He could have been best striker in the world, but his head is too fu**ed up for that. Great potential but dude is crazy. Its not without a reason that hes been in 4 top teams in both Italy and England by age of 24. He might get better in that section if he gets married. Remmember how crazy Rooney was before he did that.
