Liverpool have no other choice than a win when they face Bolton in the FA Cup on Wednesday night, as this competition is their last chance of grabbing some domestic silverware this season. They are still in the Europa League though but the Premier League title chances have all but vanished and they were knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Chelsea in the semi final. Two weeks ago Championship side Bolton secured a goalless draw at Anfield, forcing the tie into a replay.
Liverpool have welcomed striker Daniel Sturridge back on the pitch after five months on the sidelines and he came off the bench to score in the 2-0 league win over West Ham last weekend. He might not feature in the starting eleven against Bolton due to his low match fitness. Bolton didn't manage good results after the creditable draw at Anfield, they were defeated 4-2 by Rotherham and then snatched a late 2-2 draw against Wolverhampton last weekend.
Liverpool are on a three-match winning streak in the Premier League and they are unbeaten in seven top-flight matches. Bolton goalkeeper Adam Bogdan had an important contribution in the goalless draw at Anfield but he will not feature in the replay as he is out for six weeks.
Probable line-ups:
Bolton: Lonergan - Moxey, Mills, Ream - Dervite, Vela, Danns, Pratley, Feeney- Le Fondre, Clough
Liverpool: Mignolet - Can, Skrtel, Sakho - Moreno, Henderson, Lucas, Gerrard - Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling
My prediction: Liverpool to win 2-0.
Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:
Bolton win - 11/2 Draw - 10/3 Liverpool win - 4/7

FA cup showed us again how great competition it is. Great competition for us neutral viewers but for fans this is incredible, and I think that players who make bet on this match don't like this competition neither. But for me it is great, great match, Bolton has big chances to win against Liverpool and make a big result...

But that is FA cup, I can't wait next round and see what will do Mildsborough and Bradford special :D

Okey let's be realistic. Liverpool got only FA cup left to make something out of the season. They are 7th in Premier league, prolly not gonna make it to Champions league. My bet is - they gonna go kinda all in into FA cup.

FA Cup showed us that surprises may happen, but I think that Liverpool will win this game, and for me it's just a question with how much goal difference. They have Sturridge back but I'm not so sure that Brendan Rogers will let him play against Bolton in this match because I think that they have enough strenght to win this...

With so many upsets all ready in the FA Cup you can't take any game for granted. Of course Liverpool are the smashing favourites and the returning of Daniel Sturridge is a huge boost for the team but they still have to play on there best to overcome Bolton who was very active in the closing stages at the transfer market...
