Back FA Cup: Cambridge United vs Manchester United preview

League Two side Cambridge United will play their biggest game of the season on Friday when they host Manchester United in the fourth round of the FA Cup. Cambridge obviously are the underdogs in this encounter but the FA Cup has produced its fair share of big upsets. Moreover, the U's are full of confidence after having secured three consecutive wins in all competitions before the big match.

Cambridge have reached the quarter-finals of the competition twice before. Manchester United had an easy 2-0 win over Yeovil Town in the previous round, thanks to goals from new signings Ander Herrera and Angel di Maria. They are currently fourth in the Premier League table after beating QPR 2-0 last weekend.

Manager Louis Van Gaal will most likely choose to rest a few of his key players for the trip to Cambridge. Goalkeeper Victor Valdes could make his debut for the Red Devils while Paddy McNair and Jonny Evans could also be given starting places along with James Wilson. Rafael, Ashley Young and Robin van Persie will surely miss out through injury.

Probable line-ups:

Cambridge: Dunn - Tait, Nelson, Coulson, Taylor - Hughes, Champion, McGeehan, Donaldson - Elliott, Kaikai

Man Utd: Valdes - Smalling, Evans, McNair, Shaw - Valencia, Fellaini, Fletcher, Januzaj - Wilson, Rooney

My prediction: Manchester United to win 2-0.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Cambridge win - 14/1 Draw - 6/1 Man United win - 2/9
