Back Premier League: Radamel Falcao may leave Manchester United

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao might leave the club at the end of the season, at least that's what his agent says. The Colombian striker earns 265,000 pounds per week but has only managed to score three goals in thirteen appearances this season. He is at Manchester United on a season-long loan deal from French side AS Monaco and the Red Devils have until May to activate the buy-out clause worth 40 million pounds.

"He will play in one of the very best clubs in the world next season, whether that is Manchester United or not," said agent Jorge Mendes. Falcao has suffered a calf injury which hampered his season at Old Trafford, as a result he has started only eight matches.

He had been back in the starting eleven though until last week when he was left out of the 18-man squad for the match against Southampton on Sunday. He had started the previous five games. "It is very difficult for Manchester United fans," Mendes said. "They have an absolutely brilliant player, one of the very best in the world, who would without any doubt play 90 minutes of the match, every time, with any other club. The truth is, right now, we don't know what will happen."

Manchester United are 50/1 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season.
