Barcelona star Lionel Messi insists he does not want to leave the club and says reports he demanded head coach Luis Enrique should be sacked are "lies". The rumours claimed that the Argentinian forward had wanted to leave after a row with his head coach.
"I have no intentions of leaving for any team, not Chelsea nor Manchester City," Messi said after the 3-1 victory over Atletico Madrid last weekend. "I'm tired of all the things that people have been saying. I didn't ask the club to fire anyone."
Messi has spent his entire career at Barcelona and made his debut in 2004. He added: "People make it out as if I run the club and that's not how it is. I don't ask anyone to make decisions. Everything that has been said is lies and I want people to know that. Everything that has been said is false. People say these things because they want to cause us harm. It hurts because it came from Barca people. We must be united."
Barcelona are one point behind leaders Real Madrid and they are 5/2 at Bet365 to win the Primera Liga title this season.

Manchester United is only club in Premier league which one can pay his fee and large pay. I believe that his quality is not under the question, but teams ability to adapt on one man show is under the question. I don't think that he is worth that money in his ages. But maybe marketing will pay off that money

This is classic newspaper lie. He will not leave Barcelona. That is truth. But, FC Barcelona should sell him. They can sell him for that much money that one little island country can just dream about. They already bought Neymar and Luis Suarez, and that is one of the reasons they should sell him. And Messi is bored in Barcelona.

Nothing unexpected in that news, Lionel Messi is strongly connected with Barcelona since hes arrival from South America .Probably will stay there till the end of hes carreer.So that is another medias speculation or should I say lie.

of course... we all know who is messi and we all know that he will never leave Barcelona. I think that all that stuff comes from Madrid and this is their try to do some damage to Barcelona and their team spirit. But I think that this season Barca can win primera and game against Atletico madrid showed us that.
