Back Primera Liga: Getafe vs Barcelona preview

Barcelona will be determined to keep the pressure on leaders Real Madrid by grabbing all three points at Getafe on Saturday. A month ago Barca suffered two consecutive defeats but since then Luis Enrique's men won their last eight matches. They concluded their Champions League group stage campaign with a convincing 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain this week.

Getafe managed just two wins from the last 20 meetings in this fixture. Cosmin Contra's men are navigating in mid-table at the moment and they could move up if results go their way. However, their inability to score dented their progress this season. Only Granada scored fewer goals this season, and the task will be tough against Barcelona, who hold the best defensive record in the league at the moment.

Barca have kept eight consecutive clean sheets at the start of the season, but then only managed just one shutout in their last eight league matches. Claudio Bravo and Jordi Alba are likely to return to the starting lineup for Barcelona while Getafe will probably start with Angel Lafita in attack.

Probable starting line-ups:

Getafe: Guaita - Valera, Naldo, Velaquez, Escudero - Rodriguez, Lacen, Yoda, Michel, Hinestroza - Lafita

Barcelona: Bravo - Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba - Xavi, Busquets, Rakitic - Neymar, Suarez, Messi

My prediction: Barcelona to win 3-0.

Here are the odds for the match at Bet365:

Getafe win - 12/1 Draw - 11/2 Barcelona win - 2/9
