Back Premier League: Chelsea seem unstoppable, says rival Arsene Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes no team is currently capable of catching Premier League leaders Chelsea this season. His side lost 2-1 at Swansea on Sunday and the result left them 12 points behind leaders Chelsea, who are still unbeaten this season. The Blues have won 9 of their 11 Premier League matches this season and gathered 29 points, four above second-placed Southampton.

"If they keep that up nobody will touch them," Wenger said. "It doesn't look like anybody is capable of challenging them at the moment." Chelsea fought back to defeat Liverpool 2-1 on Saturday and that match made Wenger believe that Mourinho's players are full of confidence at the moment. "Look at the season and Chelsea are on course for 105 points. Look at the number of points they have today and if they keep that up nobody will touch them, that's for sure. They have had a good start and as long as you don't lose you don't question yourself," Wenger said. "Maybe a little bit more extra spirit in the team helps them when it gets tight."

Wenger's men did the opposite at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday, they were 1-0 up but eventually threw away all three points. That happened after Arsenal threw away a three-goal lead against Anderlecht in the Champions League. "It's disappointing to throw a game away like we did," said Wenger. "We were 1-0 up and had to be tight defensively and wait for that second chance. But you have to credit Swansea who didn't give up. We eased off at 1-0 and let them back into the game." Arsenal have lost more points from a winning position than any other Premier League team this season.

Chelsea are 1/6 at Bet365 to win the Premier League title this season while Arsenal are 40/1 to achieve this unlikely feat.
