Pinnacle Sports to Withdraw from British Market
Another operator has decided to withdraw from the British market due to upcoming changes to gambling licensing regulations. Pinnacle Sports will no longer offer services to British punters after September 30, 2014. As of October 1, 2014, as required by the Amendments to the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act, operators accessing the British market will be required to obtain a license from the British Gambling Commission. Going forward, punters from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland will be restricted and required to settle their accounts. Accounts will be inaccessible after 11.59pm (BST) on September 30th except for cashout requests. Wagers placed prior to this date will be honored; however those players withdrawing funds before this date will not be permitted to make additional deposits. Questions may be directed to csd@pinnaclesports.com.
