PMU CEO Resigns
This week, Philippe Germond, chief executive officer of French operator Pari Mutuel Urbain, has handed in his resignation from his position. He has been with the company for just over five years and will take on the position of chief executive officer for a car rental company Europcar Groupe in 2015. During Germond's tenure with the company, PMU logged a net profit of Euro 860 million last year as compared to the Euro 730 million the company earned when he began.
