Real Madrid have completed the signing of Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas on a six-year deal. Navas was a star between the sticks his country in Brazil this summer as Costa Rica reached the quarter-finals of the Fifa World Cup for the first time in their history. The 27-year-old goalie moves to the Santiago Bernabeu outfit from La Liga side Levante.
Reports claim Real Madrid had to pay £7.9m to Levante to activate the keeper's release clause. Navas will be presented to the club's fans at the Bernabeu on Tuesday after undergoing a medical check.
An official club statement read: "Real Madrid CF and Levante UD have reached an agreement over the transfer of Keylor Navas, who will be tied to the club for the next six seasons." Navas is the third player to join Real Madrid this summer after the signings of German World Cup winner Toni Kroos and Columbian forward James Rodriguez. Navas will compete for the number one spot at Real with Spanish keepers Iker Casillas and Diego Lopez.
Real Madrid are 5/6 at Bet365 to win the Primera Liga next season.

I think he will be the best goalkeeper in this season in primera division and league of champions. He has excellent reflexes and as we like to say he is something like " cat ". In Levante he was practicing with a tennis player and there is a clip when he catches the tennis ball..:))

I hope he will play tonight. He was in good shape when he played against Elche (?), so i expect Ancelotti to rotate his GKs like he did last year. Navas is very talented, even if Casillas is a hero in Madrid, but they must bring the hard decision until its too late. It was almost late in Lisbon...

Yapro, Casillas is getting old. And Navas was an absolute beast in the world cup, not as good as Ochoa though in my opinion lol

Money move the world, nothing else. Why he goes to RM if he will never be here number 1 goalkeeper. Casillas is much more better and fans love him, so generally Navas is on RM just for money. Pity, and a bit stupid in my opinion.
