The plan for BetVictor to provide sports betting services via Sun Bets has fallen by the wayside due to significant ownership and management changes at BetVictor.
The deal would have seen BetVictor's sports betting services reach the near six million Sun newspaper readers; however the Sun has revealed that it will be on the hunt for a new partner.
“Britain's most popular paper is the number one choice of more than half the UK's online gamblers, so we are always seeking ways of strengthening our sports offer to them,” according to a Sun statement made on Friday.
