Cycling: Rigoberto Uran leads Giro d'Italia classification ahead of final week
Italy's young sensation Fabio Aru won stage 15 of the Giro d'Italia on Sunday, while Rigoberto Uran maintained his overall race lead. Aru, riding for team Astana, moved up from seventh to fourth in the general classification after triumphing at the mountain summit finish in Plan di Montecampione. Uran extended his advantage over Australia's Cadel Evans by 31 seconds to one minute and three seconds. Race favourite Nairo Quintana managed to gain 24 seconds on Uran but is still 2 minutes and 40 seconds behind the leader in fifth position. The 225km stage was mostly flat until a violent 1,400m ascent in the final 20km. The difficulty of the climb made several riders crack, including Evans. Colombian Fabio Duarte finished second, just ahead of his compatriot Quintana, with France's Pierre Rolland in fourth and Uran fifth. Fabio Aru, aged 23, attacked and moved clear of Duarte and Rolland 2.3km from the finish to grab the first win of his professional career. Poland's youngster Rafal Majka remains third in the overall standings, 1 minute and 50 seconds behind the leader. After a final rest day on Monday, the race resumes on Tuesday with a 139km stage from Ponte di Legno to Val Martello, featuring three serious mountain climbs. Here are the current outright win odds for the Giro at Bet365: Nairo Quintana - 11/10 Rigoberto Uran - 7/4 Fabio Aru - 13/2 Domenico Pozzovivo - 12/1 Rafal Majka - 20/1
