Tennis: Azarenka withdraws from French Open
Victoria Azarenka, the world number five, has confirmed she will miss this month's French Open. The player from Belarus is still recovering from a foot injury that kept her out of contention for a while now, missing tournaments in Doha, Miami, Madrid and Rome. "Unfortunately I will not be able to compete in Roland Garros this year," the two-time Australian Open champion wrote on her Twitter page. "Working hard on my recovery and getting back on court." Azarenka has played just one match in the past two months, a match that she lost to American Lauren Davis at Indian Wells in early March. The foot injury became acute during the defence of her Australian Open title in January, where she lost to Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska in the quarter-finals. The French Open starts next Sunday and runs until 8 June. Here are the outright odds for the top favourites in the women's tournament at Bet365: Serena Williams - 5/4 Maria Sharapova - 4/1 Na Li - 5/1 Simona Halep - 11/1 Ana Ivanovic - 16/1
