Manchester City are on the verge of winning the Premier League title, the first step would be to beat Aston Villa on Wednesday in order to leapfrog Liverpool at the top of the table. City defeated Everton 3-2 last Saturday, a very important result considering the quality of the opponent. However, Aston Villa defeated Manchester City 3-2 in the reverse fixture at Villa Park in September.
Aston Villa have already secured their top-flight survival, so they won't be under pressure in this match. Gabriel Agbonlahor (knee) is a doubt for Villa while fellow forwards Christian Benteke (Achilles) and Libor Kozak (broken leg) already sidelined. Yaya Toure should be fit and into Manchester City's starting eleven.
