Premier League: Everton vs Manchester City preview
Chelsea's win at Anfield last week put Manchester City in pole position to win their second Premier League title, but Saturday's match at Goodison Park will be a tough test for the Citizens. Everton have beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United at home this season. They also have a good record against City lately, they have lost just once to them since the turn of the century. City had dropped four points against Liverpool and Sunderland and their title challenge seemed ready to go bust, but they recovered with two consecutive wins. Yaya Toure is in impressive shape with six goals in as many games and his form is giving City fresh hope for the title. Everton were on an impressive seven-game winning streak but it was halted by defeats against Crystal Palace and Southampton. The Toffees have to win against Manchester City in order to boost their Champions League hopes but the fans wouldn't mind a defeat as it would stop rivals Liverpool from claiming the title. Everton will be without on-loan midfielder Gareth Barry who is ineligible to play against his parent club, while Kevin Mirallas is out through injury. City beat Everton at home in October, but Everton have only lost one home game to Manchester City in the last 21 years. Here are the odds for Saturday's match at Bet365: Everton win - 4/1 Draw - 3/1 Manchester City win - 3/4
