Back UEFA Champions League: Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid preview

Real Madrid have bad memories of Germany from last year as they were hammered 4-1 by Borussia Dortmund back then. But now things appear to have a much better set up for the Spanish giants as they secured a convincing 3-0 success in the first leg of the quarter-final tie last week. Dortmund were without star striker Robert Lewandowski for the first leg, now the Polish striker should be back in action to boost his team's hopes of a miraculous comeback.

Lewandowski scored last weekend for Dortmund who defeated Wolfsburg 2-1 on Saturday, a result that moved them closer to Champions League qualification. Midfielder Marco Reus says he strongly believes in a comeback against Real Madrid: "We haven't given up yet. It will be tough if we play like we did in the first half against Wolfsburg. But if we play like we did in the second half, we might have a chance. It will be very tough, but we will give our all. Anything is possible in football."

Real Madrid hammered Real Sociedad 4-0 on Saturday, an impressive result that keeps them in with a chance for a historic treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League. Gareth Bale suffered a knee wound during the match though and he will probably be out of the Champions League clash in Germany. Cristiano Ronaldo should be back in the starting eleven after missing Saturday's match while Dortmund will be without Sebastian Kehl due to suspension. Goalkeeper Roman Weidenfeller's presence is in doubt due to an arm injury.

Here are the odds for Tuesday's match at Bet365:

Borussia Dortmund win - 23/10 Draw - 11/4 Real Madrid win - 6/5
