Primera Liga: Real Madrid extend lead over Barcelona
Spanish league leaders Real Madrid keep their control over the title race after recording a clinical win against Levante on Sunday. Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring with a corner kick header in the first half and Marcelo doubled their lead shortly after the interval. The poor afternoon for Levante was complete when Nikos Karabelas put one past his own goalkeeper. Real Madrid are now three points clear at the top of the table with Atletico Madrid in second place and Barcelona in third, four points adrift. Atletico had recorded a 2-0 win at Celta Vigo on Saturday while defending champions Barcelona suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at relegation-threatened Real Valladolid. Los Blancos are now unbeaten in 29 matches across all competitions and are sure of winning the title if they win each of their remaining games this season. They still have to face Barcelona though, who will be visiting Santiago Bernabeu on March 23rd. Here are the odds for the Spanish title race at Bet365: Real Madrid - 1/3 Barcelona - 7/2 Atletico Madrid - 7/1
