Premier League: Stoke vs Arsenal preview
Title contenders Arsenal will do their best to deny a poor record at the Britannia Stadium when they face Stoke City on Saturday. The Gunners have won seven of the eleven meetings with Stoke in the Premier League but only one of those victories was away from their home ground. Moreover, Stoke have managed to beat the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United at the Britannia Stadium this season. Arsenal are just one point behind league leaders Chelsea, a win combined with a poor result from the Blues would take Wenger's men atop the Premier League table. The Gunners have bounced back from the 2-0 Champions League defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich by beating Sunderland 4-1 last weekend. Boss Arsene Wenger urges the team to be consistent throughout the last 11 fixtures of the Premier League season in order to clinch the title. "Overall, it will be very tight," Wenger said. "If you are consistent, you will have a good chance to win it." Arsenal have been doing good things on the road this season, collecting 26 points away from home. But Stoke have a solid home record with 21 of their 27 league points coming at the Britannia. The Potters are currently on a three-match winless run in the league, which left them in 15th position, just three points above the relegation zone. Nacho Monreal (foot) and Kieran Gibbs (hamstring) are in doubt but Thomas Vermaelen could fill the left back spot after recovering from a knee injury. Aaron Ramsey is set to miss out with a thigh problem. Stoke are without winger Oussama Assaidi (knee), but Robert Huth could finally make the match squad after being absent for three months due to a knee injury. Here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Stoke win - 9/2 Draw - 14/5 Arsenal win - 8/11
