Premier League: Arsenal vs Manchester United preview
Struggling defending champions Manchester United will face a tough test on Wednesday in their quest to restore confidence as they will take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. United suffered yet another setback last weekend as Darren Bent bagged a late equaliser to secure a 2-2 draw for bottom side Fulham at Old Trafford. United had recovered from 1-0 down and were leading 2-1 in stoppage time. With just one point in their last two matches, the Red Devils are 14 points behind second-placed Arsenal. However, they have a good recent record against the Gunners, with just one defeat in their last five matches at the Emirates Stadium in all competitions. Arsenal are not in the best spirits either as they were thrashed 5-1 by Liverpool last Saturday. That result coupled with Chelsea's 3-0 triumph against Newcastle moved the Blues at the top of the Premier League table. Arsene Wenger stated his confidence in a response against Manchester United, considering Arsenal's great home form this season. The Gunners are unbeaten in their last 11 matches at the Emirates Stadium, a run that stretches back to the opening day of the season. Arsenal managed to keep four consecutive clean sheets in their home league matches but this time they will face their former striker Robin van Persie, who has scored eight goals in his last nine Premier League matches, including one against the Gunners in November. Moreover, van Persie scored in each of the three games against his former club since joining Manchester United. Marouane Fellaini (groin) and Jonny Evans (calf) are likely to miss out for the visitors, while Phil Jones might be back in contention. Mathieu Flamini is suspended for Arsenal Aaron Ramsey (thigh), Thomas Vermaelen (knee) and Kim Kallstrom (back) will surely miss out. Here are the odds at Bet365 for Wednesday's clash: Arsenal win - 23/20 Draw - 5/2 Manchester United win - 13/5
