The renewal of Illinois law allowing online horse race wagering has been approved for an extension so race tracks may maintain 2014 schedules.
It is being reported that the renewal measure cleared the Senate 47-4 on Wednesday subsequent to a state house vote for the renewal.
The online wagering law was good through this Friday; however the extension provides more time and is valid for three years plus includes a wagering surcharge.
