Serie A: Inter vs Chievo preview
Inter need to make something happen after losing two games in a row before the winter break. Their first match of 2014 at San Siro is against Chievo,a side that is currently 16th in the league table. Inter have started 2014 on a sour note as they crashed out of the Italian Cup after losing 1-0 at Udinese last Thursday. Inter were also beaten 1-0 at Lazio on Monday in a league match, meaning that they have won just two of their last eight games in all competitions. Inter are currently sixth in the Serie A, 21 points behind leaders Juventus. The Nerazzurri are hoping to turn things around, especially since they have striker Diego Milito back to full fitness again. Defender Hugo Campagnaro is also back in contention after serving a suspension, but star midfielder Fredy Guarin is banned. Ricky Alvarez, Esteban Cambiasso and Rodrigo Palacio are set to return to the starting line-up after remaining on the bench for Thursday's cup match. Chievo also are going through a bad patch, they are without a win in three league matches and were also knocked out of the Coppa Italia as they were beaten 2-0 at Fiorentina on Wednesday. Eugenio Corini's men are just two points above the relegation zone and were thrashed 4-1 at Torino in their last Serie A away game. They will surely fight for every point though and that is what makes this match a tough one to predict. Here are the odds for Monday's match at Bet365: Inter win - 4/9 Draw - 10/3 Chievo win - 6/1
