Ladbrokes Prepares for Early Launch of New Betting Exchange Product
Jim Mullen, Ladbrokes head of Digital, has moved up the launch of a new betting exchange product. The launch is said to take place this week rather than the previously scheduled Q1 2014 projection. The product will hit the market as a desktop-only version followed by a mobile version before the end of the year. The betting exchange will operate as a separate Betdaq client. Ladbrokes acquired the company in January 2013 €30 million which will cease its fixed odds betting product.
