World Cup Qualifiers: Bosnia-Hercegovina reach their first final tournament
Bosnia-Hercegovina have qualified for their first ever World Cup finals as an independent nation after beating Lithuania 1-0 to finish top of Group G. They didn't have an easy match though as they struggled to break the deadlock before Vedad Ibisevic finally netted the winning goal in the second half. World champions Spain also booked their tickets for Brazil 2014, along with England and Russia. Croatia, Sweden, Romania, Iceland, Portugal, Greece, Ukraine and France will battle it out for the final four European places in next month's play-offs. The draw for the play-offs takes place on 21 October in Zurich. Denmark, who were runners-up in Group B, missed out on the play-offs as they were the second-placed team with the worst record in games against the teams finishing first, third, fourth and fifth in their group.
