Primera Liga: Lionel Messi back in training with Barcelona
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has returned to training with the Spanish champions as he continues his recovery from a thigh injury. He has picked up the injury in a 2-0 win over Almeria on 28 September. Lionel Messi has scored eight goals in six league appearances this season and he bagged a hat-trick against Ajax in his only Champions League match of the season. He has missed Barcelona's Champions League win over Celtic and a La Liga victory over Valladolid. He has also been absent from international duty with Argentina but they have already qualified for the 2014 World Cup. World Player of the Year Messi has not traveled to Argentina to join his national team, staying in Barcelona to recuperate and joined in training with the 11 first-team players available to coach Gerardo Martino on Monday. The Spanish champions will play Osasuna on Saturday before a Champions League group game against AC Milan three days later. Barcelona are 8/13 at Bet365 to win at AC Milan and the same sportsbook has them 2/9 to beat Osasuna while Neymar is 5/6 to score in the league match.
