Premier League: Leaders Arsenal held at West Brom
Jack Wilshere scored in the second half to earn Arsenal a point at West Brom. The Gunners remain at the top of the Premier League on goals scored. The Baggies took the lead when Claudio Yacob headed home Morgan Amalfitano's cross. The home side could have secured a win but Nicolas Anelka missed two good chances before Wilshere scored with a deflected 20-yard shot to make it all square. Arsenal could have won it as well but Olivier Giroud was denied by a great save from Boaz Myhill. Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny kept Arsenal afloat early on as he did well to deny Under 21 international Saido Berahino, who cut inside and fired in a low shot. Aaron Ramsey had the best chance for Arsenal but Myhill displayed a great reflex to beat the ball clear. The hosts took the lead when Amalfitano delivered an inch-perfect cross into the box from the right for Yacob to head home from six yards. Arsenal fought back after the break and they got a deserved equaliser when Tomas Rosicky and Giroud combined to set up Wilshere for his first Premier League goal in three years. Wilshere then delivered a great ball forward putting Giroud clean through on goal but Myhill worked a half-miracle to save as the striker tried to go round him. Last weekend's results have induced some changes in the outright Premier League odds, let's see the situation for the top five contenders at Bet365: Manchester City - 9/4 Chelsea - 13/5 Arsenal - 9/2 Manchester United - 6/1 Liverpool - 15/2
