Champions League: Roberto Mancini in talks with Galatasaray
Former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is in talks with Turkish champions Galatasaray about their vacant manager's position. The Istanbul club confirmed that Mancini was invited to a meeting with club directors. The club have released a photo of the 48-year-old Italian manager with chief executive Lutfi Aribogan. The Italian would replace Fatih Terim, who was sacked last week after failing to agree a new contract. Manchester City sacked Mancini in May, exactly one year after he led the club to their first ever Premier League title. Galatasaray have made a poor start to the Turkish league season, picking up just one win from their first five games. They also had a rough start to the Champions League group stage as Real Madrid beat them 6-1 in their opening game. Mancini has won three successive Italian league titles and two Italian Cups with Inter Milan, before winning the FA Cup and Premier League with City. Galatasaray face another tough Champions League test on Wednesday as they travel to face Italian champions Juventus, here are the odds for the match at Bet365: Juventus win - 1/4 Draw - 9/2 Galatasaray win - 11/1
