Betting Promotion and Tain Discuss Merger
Sportsbetting solutions provider Betting Promotion Sweden and gaming software company Tain are in the preliminary stages of discussing the possibility of a merger. Talks will continue through October with a subsequent decision resulting from a Betting Promotion Sweden Extraordinary General Meeting. Betting Promotion currently stands as Tain's largest shareholder. “Betting Promotion is a content provider and Tain a technology business. I see the merger of the two as an ideal opportunity for Betting Promotion to utilise Tain's technological resources and know-how to further develop our products,” Betting Promotion's chief marketing officer, Richard Hogg, said this week. “Since Betting Promotion is not accustomed to providing a 'one service fits all solution' but bespoke services to many of our clients we understand that this is fast becoming a highly complex area in itself. “The end user of all betting sites these days is accustomed to being serviced with up-to-the-second information and thus content is having a significant impact these days. Therefore as a business we need to ensure we can continue to deliver these imperatives in the future as the landscape widens. “In providing our content to various sports book solutions we find each has different technological aspects we could assist with in more detail with such a merger.”
