Betfred, a UK bookmaker, has a £10m marketing campaign in the works it prepares to enter back into the Australian market. It plans to launch a Northern Territory-licensed sports betting website with loads of advertisement for the upcoming 2013 - 2014 football season.
This surpasses previous Betfred campaigns two to three fold and includes television adverts based on “You'll love a bit of Betfred”, a tagline created by Machester ad agency.
Australian gambling advertising is on the rise generating millions each year. Australian political attitudes toward online gambling may change; however Betfred is not feeling threatened and has proceeded with improvements to its customer support plus the launch of the latest campaign.
