Tennis: Andy Murray returns to action at Rogers Cup
Andy Murray will be back in an ATP tournament for the first time since winning Wimbledon when he plays in the Rogers Cup in Montreal, Canada this week. Murray will face either Grigor Dimitrov or Marcel Granollers in the second round after receiving a first-round bye. Murray returns to the North American hard-court circuit in preparation for his US Open title defence. "I'll work as hard as I can to give myself an opportunity at the US Open and see how I do there," he said. It will be Murray's first official appearance since winning the Wimbledon title last month, becoming Britain's first men's champion in 77 years following a dominant straight-sets victory against world number one Novak Djokovic. Murray says his target is to win another Grand Slam tournament rather than take Djokovic's number one spot. "Every player would like to get to number one, but I would rather win another Grand Slam or two and not get to number one," said Murray. The Scot has a great track record in Canada, having won the event in both 2009 and 2010, but Djokovic has won the title in the last two years. Here are the outright odds for the Montreal tournament at Bet365: Novak Djokovic - 11/8 Andy Murray - 5/2 Rafael Nadal - 13/2 Juan Martin Del Potro - 7/1 David Ferrer - 22/1
